Information stored on the device
Finny Fish locally stores the nickname chosen by the player, the personal high score, the latest round score and basic app preferences required for normal operation.
This information is not sent to QuestiNova and is not stored on a QuestiNova server. Removing the app normally removes this locally stored information, subject to Apple’s device backup and restore features.
Game Center
Finny Fish uses Apple Game Center for the optional worldwide leaderboard. When Game Center is used, the app submits the player’s score to Apple Game Center.
Authentication, the Game Center player profile, leaderboard storage and the Game Center interface are provided and managed by Apple. Finny Fish does not operate its own online account system and does not store the player’s Game Center identity on a QuestiNova server.
Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
No advertising or tracking
Finny Fish contains no advertising or in-app purchases, does not use analytics or tracking, does not use third-party advertising identifiers and does not send gameplay or personal information to a custom QuestiNova server. The app has no chat or user-generated content.
Children and families
Finny Fish is designed to be suitable for a general audience, including children and families. QuestiNova does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children through Finny Fish. Players should not use their real name as their in-app nickname.
Data deletion
The locally stored nickname and scores can be removed by deleting the app from the device. Game Center information and leaderboard data are managed through the player’s Apple Account and Apple Game Center settings.
